TINY tots climbed on board the Sprotbrough story bus recently, to dig out their favourite tales.
Imaginations were flowing as the bus pulled up outside the village library, in Sprotbrough Road, and young people jumped on to take part in the exciting activities.

And the budding bookworms and creative kids made sure Mr Bear was not feeling alone and blue... as he was also joined by plenty of furry friends, ranging from tigers to rabbits!

The popular project, run by Doncaster Council, encourages children to read in novel and innovative ways when they are still young.

In Conisbrough, the children played a "story game" of Old Macdonald's
farm!

In previous stops across the borough, the scheme has challenged children up to the age of eight to rap, wear fancy dress and make badges.
